Postgraduate Accommodation

Living in Oxford

Mansfield College offers housing for new postgraduates in a number of different buildings located around Oxford, some managed by Mansfield, and some by the University.

Please note we’re unable to offer any couples or family accommodation, or accommodation to students studying for part-time programmes. If you require couples or family accommodation, we advise you to contact the University’s Graduate Accommodation Office about availability as soon as possible.

Types of accommodation

Apply by 30 June 2024

More information about how to apply is provided in the material accompanying your offer letter. Please note there are a limited number of rooms available, and it’s likely that there will be more applications than available rooms. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Room allocations

Room allocations will be made as soon as the accommodation list is full, which may be before the final deadline for submitting the form. We expect to communicate allocations by mid-July at the latest.

Students who apply for accommodation after the accommodation list is full but before 30 June 2024 will be added to a waiting list and prioritised for any spaces that become available. Please note that joining the waiting list doesn’t guarantee that we’ll be able to offer you a room.
