Virtual Teacher’s Conference

Mansfield College is delighted to announce that we are hosting a virtual teacher’s conference on Thursday 20th June 2024. The conference aims to provide up to date practical information and guidance relating to the Oxford application process. Each session in the conference will cover a stage of the application process. This will be followed by a discussion where teachers can bring questions, concerns, and topics for discussion.

The conference is open to teachers and support staff working at a UK state school. We welcome teachers and support staff with all kinds of knowledge, whether they are experienced or have little knowledge of Oxford. We hope you will find it useful whether you need a detailed introduction, need an update, or would like to (virtually) meet other staff and hear their experiences and ideas.

Registering for the conference will close on Monday 10th June at noon. A confirmation and Teams link will be sent shortly after.

We particularly welcome contact from any schools or colleges in our link regions that would like to find out more about what support we can offer – in the local authorities of Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Doncaster, East Riding, Greenwich, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, or York. If you’re a teacher from a school or college in one of these regions, please feel free to join our teacher’s mailing list.

Visiting Mansfield

We encourage visits from school groups in years 9-12 to provide information and activities to showcase life at Mansfield and all that Oxford has to offer – as well as answering questions about continuing education to university level.

While we prioritise schools and colleges in our link regions, we welcome enquiries from other schools and colleges who would like to visit Mansfield. We’re particularly keen to make contact with schools with little or no history of sending students to the University of Oxford.
