Make a gift from Germany

Thank you for making a gift to Mansfield. Residents of Germany can make tax-efficient donations via the German Friends of Oxford University without incurring any fees.

The German Friends of Oxford University is a registered charity run by Dr Jan Willisch. It is authorised to issue donation receipts to German donors, entitling them to offset charitable gifts from their taxable income in Germany. Legacies are treated in the same way as lifetime donations for the purposes of inheritance and gift tax in Germany, so you can also talk to Dr Willisch about leaving a gift in your will.

The 1886 Circle

Members of the 1886 Circle help create life-changing opportunities for students at Mansfield today.

Your support for Mansfield secures our world-class teaching and research, provides crucial financial support, and makes everything else that makes an Oxford education so unique and transformational accessible to everyone in our community.

And through our leading access and outreach programmes, you will help find the next generation of exceptionally talented students. People who, without time and investment, may not have been able to discover and develop their talents as part of the Mansfield community.

Joining the 1886 Circle

You can join the 1886 Circle with a gift of £157.17/month or £1,886 a year or more.

Membership of the Circle includes the opportunity to dine in formal Hall on Wednesdays at least once a year, attend special events, receive regular updates and much more.

If you are an alumnus under the age of 30, you can join the 1886 Circle with a gift of £18.86 a month.
