Andrew is the Associate Professor in Civil Procedure at the Law Faculty and a Fellow in Law of Mansfield College. He has taught civil procedure on Oxford’s BCL/MJUR course since 2008 and has taught contract and tort for University College and New College respectively. From 2015 Andrew will take on the General Editorship of Civil Justice Quarterly. Andrew completed a BA/LLB (hons) at the University of Melbourne in 2001 and the BCL in 2005. He completed a DPhil at Oxford on legal professional privilege in 2011, and published a book on ‘Legal Professional Privilege for Corporations: A Guide to Four Major Common Law Jurisdictions’ with Oxford University Press in 2014. He has been a visiting scholar with NYU's Hauser Global Law School Program and an occasional guest lecturer in civil procedure at Melbourne Law School. Andrew worked as a solicitor at the Australian law firm Slater & Gordon until 2007, and has been a practising barrister at the Victorian Bar since 2011. His main area of practice is mass tort litigation and has worked on asbestos, thalidomide and tobacco litigation amongst others. He has advised the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on whether the use of light and mild descriptors for cigarettes constituted misleading advertising, assisted the US Department of Justice on its RICO claim against the US tobacco industry: US v Philip Morris et al and advised the Australian Government on the defence of its tobacco plain packaging laws against constitutional and international legal challenges. He has received awards for his work exposing British American Tobacco’s “document retention policies” in McCabe v British American Tobacco including from a coalition of public health NGOs. Andrew’s main research interests are civil procedure, tort and causation.

Elizabeth Drummond MA (Oxon) BCL is a Stipendiary Lecturer in Law at Mansfield College.

Elizabeth read for her undergraduate law and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees at Worcester College, Oxford. She later qualified as a solicitor in a major London law firm before joining the Law Commission as a team lawyer in the Property, Family and Trust Law team. Highlights of her five years at the Commission include working as part of the team reviewing the law of intestacy and family provision claims on death, and supporting the enactment of the Perpetuities and Accumulations Act 2009 and the Trusts (Capital and Income) Act 2013.

Elizabeth returned to Oxford full-time in 2013, though she has been teaching Oxford undergraduates since 2008. She specialises in tutoring students in the Final Honour Schools courses in Land Law and Trusts, and the first-year Roman Law course. Her research interests lie in the fields of succession law, trusts and land law.

Konstantina is a Lecturer in EU and Constitutional Law at Mansfield College, a DPhil in Law candidate at the Faculty of Law and an Editor of the Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal.

Konstantina holds an LL.B. (Distinction; Scholarship for academic excellence by the University of Athens A. Papadakis Trust), an LL.M. in Public Law (Distinction) and an LL.M. in Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Athens. She has also obtained an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge (supported by the A.S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation) and an M.St. in Legal Research from the University of Oxford (as a scholar of the University of Athens A. Gazis Trust). In the context of her studies on DPhil level, Konstantina is a scholar of the A.G. Leventis Foundation.

Konstantina is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association. Prior to her DPhil studies, she practiced public law, project finance and public procurement in top-tier law firms in Athens, Greece. She has worked as a research assistant at the School of Management and Business of King’s College London, conducting research on the prospects of a new employment relations and labour market model for Greece. In 2017, she was a scientific collaborator of the European Public Law Organisation, responsible for the codification of all existing legislation falling within the regulatory competence of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism. In 2019, Konstantina completed a traineeship at the European Commission (DG FISMA), focusing on transaction involving capital movements and intra-EU investment.

In his role as Lecturer in Law at Mansfield College, Christopher teaches Jurisprudence to undergraduate law students. He also acts as college advisor to graduate law students reading for the BCL and MJur degrees. Christopher has taught as a Tutor at Brasenose College, Pembroke College, and St Edmund Hall – as well as on the Opportunity Oxford and Oxford Law Springboard programmes. He teaches broadly within the areas of law, politics, and philosophy to visiting Stanford University undergraduates.

Christopher is a DPhil in Law candidate at Brasenose College, Oxford. His research examines our present conceptions of democracy and the role that the combined use of sortition and democratic deliberation may have in future constitutional change. Drawing upon ideas within the fields of deliberative constitutionalism and normative political constructivism, his thesis explores potential methods of enhancing governance through a series of practical political recommendations.

Christopher was previously a Research Assistant, and is currently a Graduate Research Resident, at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights. Prior to joining the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford, he worked as a Judicial Extern to the Chief Judge of the largest Federal District Court in the United States (California). Christopher has volunteered on a number of initiatives including researching as part of the Cambridge Pro Bono Project, mentoring through Oxford’s Refugee-Led Research Hub, and representing individuals at Law Centre Northern Ireland. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, and an LL.B. from Queen's University Belfast.

Sarath is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Intellectual Property Law and DPhil Researcher at the Faculty of Law. He completed his Bachelor's in Law, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences; and his Master's in Law, LLM in Commercial Laws from the University of Cambridge.

Sarath graduated his LLM with the 'CMS Prize for Corporate Law' for distinction in Corporate Finance Law examination, and was the Pratibha M. Singh Cambridge Trust scholar during his LLM year.

He has served on the editorial boards of the Cambridge Law Review and the Journal of Indian Law and Society. He was the Chief Editor of the Journal of Indian Law and Society during his last 6 months with the journal. Sarath worked for one year in Ambala district in Haryana as a Chief Minister's Good Governance Associate wherein he worked with the State Government and the District Administration to improve public administration. Sarath has also served as the Administrative Head of the NUJS-HSF Bridge Project, a project that educates underprivileged kids living in the slums of Kolkata.
