Mansfield College intends to appoint a Stipendiary Lecturer in Physics for a fixed term of one year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three weighted hours a week, averaged over three eight-week terms, through a combination of tutorials and classes. Papers will include CP3 and CP4, taken by all first-year physics students in preparation for the Prelims Examination.
They will be expected to participate in the organisation and administration of Physics at Mansfield in collaboration with other subject tutors, involving: assessment and interview of candidates for undergraduate admissions; the setting and marking of internal college exams and assessments; and supporting skills development in the subject.
