Mansfield’s first Community Week and Giving Day

Mansfield’s first ever Community Week is due to take place from 26 October. In this challenging year, we want to involve the whole College – our global community of alumni, students, staff and College friends – to celebrate Mansfield with a range of socially distanced and online activities. Community Week will culminate in our very first Giving Day on 28 and 29 October, to raise funds to support Mansfield and its students in what is an exceptionally difficult year.

The warmth and support that Mansfield provides for our wonderful and diverse community of scholars really matters to us, because we believe that this delivers the best results at every level. In this year of unforeseen challenges, we are asking our community to rally behind Mansfield students, some of whom have overcome significant disadvantages to get here and are facing severe hardship due to the Covid crisis.

There are so many ways that you can get involved in Community Week and Giving Day:

Attend one of our Community Week Online Reunions, with alumni and tutors.
Sign up to become a social media Ambassador for Giving Day, encouraging others to get involved by sharing messages on social media, using the hashtag #WeAreMansfield, or emailing your Mansfield friends.
Make a donation, during the 36-hour Giving Day, at www.mansfield.ox.ac.uk/GivingDay2020.
Follow us on social media during Community Week and track the progress of Giving Day over the 36 hours.

If you would like to get involved, or if you have any questions, then please contact development@mansfield.ox.ac.uk.
