Mansfield College’s Iftar Dinner

Mansfield College hosted an iftar dinner last night bringing together students and staff community around a cosy table to break their fast with flavoursome and fragrant traditional food in celebration of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Oxford student and Muslim scholar, Ammar Naqvi shared a pre-dinner reflection and insight on the holy month which was followed by a Rumi poetry recitation by Mansfield College student, Sina Maghami Nick and finally iftar was called on with the Adhan (Call to Prayer) by Mohammad Mahdi.
