Assessing the figures as a mean average, there is a negative gender pay gap, with women earning an average of £1.55 per hour (6.46%) more than men.

This is an improvement on the figures reported a year ago (for 2021) by Mansfield College, which showed a median average gender pay gap of 5.9% in favour of men (£0.83 per hour), and a mean average of 2.8% (£0.47) in favour of men.
