This significant joint ministerial role comes just six months after Torsten was elected as the Member of Parliament for Swansea West during the July 2024 general election.

Torsten’s impressive career has included serving as a special adviser to Alistair Darling during his tenure as Chancellor of the Exchequer, as well as Head of Policy under former Labour leader Ed Miliband.
