College has had a good set of exam results in 2021, with 97% of the 69 Mansfield students who completed their undergraduate degrees awarded a First or an Upper Second in Finals. 40% of our finalists obtained a First, with some exceptional results across several subjects, and a record number of Firsts achieved by Jurisprudence students.

Many congratulations to all those Mansfield students who were also awarded University prizes for their ongoing commitment to academic excellence:

Vaishna Surjid (History) – Kirk Greene Thesis Prize for the best thesis on modern African history, shortlisted for the Herbert Prize (best thesis on imperial/colonial history)

Mustaqim Mohammad Iqbal (Jurisprudence) – Gibbs Prize Proxime Contract, Tort, Land Law and Trusts

Andreas Giannakopoulos (BCL) – Law Faculty Prize in Advanced Property and Trusts (shared in 2021)

Beth Gilmour (Jurisprudence) – Littleton Chambers Prize in Labour Law

Kieran Rivers (Meng Materials Science) – Ironmongers’ Company Annual Award 2020/2021: Best Part II Talk

College is hugely proud of all our finalists for completing their degrees in an exceptionally difficult year. We look forward to hearing about what they go on to achieve next. Congratulations!
