The Faculty of Theology and Religion and Mansfield College are together seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Contemporary and Systematic Theology.
The successful candidate will offer tutorials to undergraduates, will provide lectures and classes for both undergraduate and Masters students, and will supervise doctoral students. They will act as an examiner at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and will provide leadership on committees for both the Faculty and Mansfield College.
As a member of both communities, the Associate Professor will contribute to a lively and intellectually stimulating research environment where scholars perform to the highest international levels in research and publication, drawing on the outstanding research facilities which the University of Oxford has to offer. The successful candidate will also have a role to play in the running of the College.
The closing date for applications is 28 January 2025 at 12 noon. In-person interviews are likely to be held the week of February 16, 2025.
