Peter Tatchell has been a leading campaigner for human rights and LGBT freedom since 1967. He is member of OutRage!, an LGBT rights group formed to affirm the right of sexual freedom and choice of the the LGBT community.
Through the Peter Tatchell Foundation, he campaigns for human rights in Britain and internationally. He is the author of six books, including The Battle for Bermondsey (1983) and We Don’t Want to March Straight – Masculinity, Queers & The Military (1995).
