Oxford University and its Colleges have an extensive programme of events and initiatives to encourage students to apply to Oxford and to keep teachers updated on application procedures. Further information on events organised by the University can be found on the University website:

As part of the University's ongoing commitment to engage with schools, a scheme has been developed to simplify communication between the University and its Colleges and all schools in the United Kingdom. Each Oxford College is now linked to a number of Local Authorities to ensure that each school has a named first point of contact within the University.
Mansfield has been linked with the following Local Authorities:
Bexley
Bromley
Croydon
Doncaster
East Riding
Greenwich
Hull
York
Please note that this scheme is not intended to replace any existing contact a school may have with Oxford, but it we hope these new arrangements will improve the communication of information and good advice for both teachers and students.
This year Mansfield will be running Application Conferences, focused on providing year 12 students and their teachers with information about studying at Oxford and making a competitive application. A proposed format for the day is below.
