'We warmly encourage you to choose Mansfield College when you apply to Oxford. Mansfield is one of the smaller undergraduate colleges in Oxford, taking just under 70 undergraduates a year. Being small means that new students quickly get to know each other and we have a well-deserved reputation as a welcoming and friendly college. Our students come to Mansfield from all over the world, and from a wide variety of social and educational backgrounds. We have the highest proportion of state sector students of any Oxford college. We pride ourselves on our diversity, on our close-knit and friendly community, and on that quality which all our students have in common: a passion and enthusiasm for learning.

We offer a wide range of subjects, but not every subject, so check on our subjects page that we offer the subject you want to study. Every college offers the same course of study for individual subjects. Your Mansfield tutors oversee your studies, and take a close interest in your individual academic progress. As well as being the focus for your academic life, Mansfield provides you with food (which our students tell us is the best in the University), accommodation, libraries and other facilities, as well as fellow students with whom to study and socalise."
