Elfan Rees Scholarship

The College awards the Elfan Rees scholarship once every four years, alternately in Theology and Politics, tenable at Mansfield for two years.  The award is made in memory of Dr Elfan Rees, who was Adviser on Refugee Affairs to the World Council of Churches on International Affairs and was Dale Lecturer at Mansfield College from 1974 to 1975.  The next award will be in 2013 in Politics and is open to men and women studying or who will be studying at Oxford University towards a higher degree in the field of Politics from October 2013.  Approved courses include the MSc., (provided the intention is to continue to the DPhil), MPhil, MLitt or DPhil in any branch of Politics and International Relations.
