I had a late arrival at Oxford due to a delay in my visa and missed the induction programme and the first week of lectures. However, the assistance I received from Mansfield not only helped me with my studies, but also helped me and my wife to get settled in quickly. From the book grant awarded by Mansfield I was able to buy several of the essential books. The law library at Mansfield (which is one of the three main libraries at college) has one of the largest collections of law books and whatever was not available was soon added to its collection upon request. There is also a college tutor assigned to each student who helps with tutorials and other matters regarding your studies.

The Mansfield MCR is a warm and welcoming place and both my wife and I have had good times meeting up with fellow students and friends from the world over. The MCR organises many events throughout the year for the academic and social welfare of Graduate students. The homely atmosphere of and the continuous academic assistance given by Mansfield have made my stay in Oxford a truly enjoyable and memorable one.
