The College Office can provide all students with an academic transcript, confirming dates of attendance, degree course, examinations taken, marks achieved, and additional information, if applicable, such as Scholarships and Prizes awarded.
All students are entitled to 10 copies (including postage) free of charge. Transcripts will be charged at £1.00 each thereafter with a minimum charge of £5.00 and postage charges will be discretionary. Any copying of supporting documentation will be charged at 10p per sheet.
Alternatively, you may request an electronic version. This will be sent via email attachment as a PDF file. There is no charge for this.
To request copies of your transcript, please email Jenny Medland. If you would like copies sent to someone other than you, i.e. the institution to which you are applying, please provide details of this in your email.
Please allow 3 working days when requesting your transcript.
Documents confirming your student status and letters for council tax purposes are available through the University Student Self Service. The Certificate of Enrolment, downloadable from the Student Self Service, should also be used to open a bank account (this will need to be stamped).
If you need a document or letter authenticated with the College stamp, please bring it the College Office.
If your university card is lost, stolen or damaged, please email Helen Etty to request a replacement. If your card is lost, you will also need to pay the £10 replacement fee at the University's online store. There is no fee for replacing damaged or stolen cards.
It takes approximately two days for new cards to arrive and we will send you an email to notify you. Please collect your new card from the College Office.
If your card has been lost, your card number will change. You will need to take your new card to the College Librarian so that your details can be updated on the library system.
Finalists are not automatically entered for a degree day. It is your responsibility to book a place at a graduation ceremony. To find out more, and to download the booking form, please visit our Graduation page.
