Food at Mansfield has an excellent reputation within the Oxford College community for providing food of the highest standards using fresh, non-GM ingredients. The catering team work hard to ensure that only the best seasonal produce is used to create inventive menus at reasonable prices. Fine dining and special banqueting can be arranged in the stunning surroundings of our Hall, Chapel and other College function rooms.
The catering team can produce food for all occasions ranging from the smaller lunch through to large banquets for 150 guests.
The Cellar Bar offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing drink in informal surroundings. The Bar can be booked for conferences and private functions on arrangement. A cash bar can also be provided in other locations within the College.
The College has an excellent cellar with some 130 wines in stock. Classic wines include a wide range of Claret, Burgundy and Rhone reds, whites from Alsace and the Loire, as well as German, Austrian and French dessert wines and champagne / sparkling wines. All major wine-growing regions of the world are represented, including a fine selection of South African wines (both white and red), some of them specially imported by the College, and New Zealand whites.Mansfield College own-label red and white wine and Port is also available for purchase on request.
