Supporting Mansfield

Despite being one of Oxford’s youngest colleges, Mansfield has a large group of alumni and friends who have generously supported the College over the years. Whether it is via donations to our Annual Fund that enable us to grow our endowment and become self-sufficient, planned gifts that transform particular areas of the College or through named prizes and bursaries that recognise and support our students, there are many ways Mansfield’s alumni and friends have helped us.

As Mansfield begins to look beyond its 125th Anniversary and towards the future, it is essential that the College continues to build on the momentum our alumni and friends have helped to establish over these past few years.

We are grateful for any type gift you care to make to Mansfield and there are several ways in which you can easily do this:

Online Giving

For UK and non-US alumni and friends of Mansfield you can give in a just a few clicks via Oxford’s online giving page.

For US-based alumni and friends of Mansfield you can give in just a few clicks via Oxford’s North American Office online giving page.

On both pages you will be able to make a direct contribution to our Annual Fund and specify what particular area of the College you would prefer your gift to go towards. For example, this can be areas such as Student Support or Tutorial Fellowships in subject-specific areas such as Geography, PPE and Maths. Your gift could also help us with the purchase of equipment for a particular sports club  or society.

Legacies

Legacy or planned gifts continue to play a central part in Mansfield’s efforts to provide for both current and future members of the College.

Whether it be providing for the library, endowing a Chair in a particular subject or helping Mansfield restore and display more of its heritage, legacy giving provides the opportunity to make a real difference to the part of College that means the most to you.

The Glover Society has been established to recognize those who have already, or intend to, leave a gift to Mansfield in their Will and the College holds events to recognise this important group of individuals.

If you would like to become a member please contact Dr Justin B. Jacobs in the Development Office on +44 (0)1865 270 998 or at depdevelopment.director(at)mansfield.ox.ac.uk

Alternatively, Oxford has created a useful information page on how all alumni can incorporate legacy/planned gifts into their charitable giving.
