As you will read in our Case for Support, we have ambitious plans that aim to safeguard and enhance all aspects of the student experience at Mansfield which, as I am sure you will agree, are vital for the future of the College.  

In the run-up to 2011, it is our intention to involve as many alumni as possible. To date, only 25% of our Alumni have ever donated. In essence, we are trying to rectify this by asking 500 Alumni to take a positive role in our 125th Anniversary by donating £32.50 per month for 48 months. The actual cost to a higher rate tax payer will stand at approximately £25 per month after further tax relief is claimed from their tax return.

Each donor will become a member of the Mansfield 500 and, by extension of this, a Friend of Mansfield College.  There are benefits attached to the Mansfield 500: each donor’s name will be inscribed on the Mansfield 500 Plaque, which will be displayed in College - in perpetuity - and each Friend will be presented with a limited edition print of the College valued at £120.

This request has been carefully constructed.  In doing so, we are hoping to raise a reasonable sum by spreading the required amounts over a fairly large number of alumni over, say, the next four years.  This means a huge difference can be made with relatively small individual donations.   Please find our Mansfield 500 brochure and Standing Order donation form below.
