On September 15th the Mansfield Association will be holding its AGM and annual dinner.
This year's AGM will be of particular importance as it will decide on various ways in which the Association hopes to restructure the way it works with College, and also ways in which the Assocation can better support networking amongst our alumni. Immediately before the AGM, there will be a brief Extraordinary General Meeting which will vote on proposed amendments to the Association's constitution to reflect these changing goals. You can read these proposed changes here, whilst you can find the agendas for the AGM and EGM here.
Following the AGM, which will be held from 4.30pm, there will be a drinks reception in the Council Room before dinner in the Hall from 7pm. Our guest speaker for the evening will be former English Fellow and Vice-Principal of Mansfield John Creaser.
If you would like to join us at what promises to be a fantastic opportunity to have your say in the Association's future, or if you'd just like to join us at the dinner from 7pm, please download and complete the booking form and post it back to us here in the Development Office at the College address.
There will also be rooms available in College, and if you'd like one, please complete that section of the booking form and Bob Trafford in the Alumni Office will get back to you with confirmation of your reservation.
The weekend of September 15th/16th is also the weekend of The University of Oxford's annual Alumni Weekend. Why not make a weekend of it? Please visit the University's alumni weekend website for more information on their extensive and wide-ranging programme of events.
