Mansfield is in the process of setting up a Remuneration Committee, under the Charities Commission guidelines regarding conflicts of interest, and there is a vacancy remaining that the College hopes to find an alumna to take up.
The Remuneration Committee would be asked to review, amongst others, academic salaries and allowances, and to deal with specific salary review requests.
The college is looking for someone with general experience in senior management, trustee work, and Human Resources, and who would as such be in a position to bring relevant experience and professional background to bear upon internal College issues regarding remuneration.
The committee is to be chaired by Roger Finbow (Law, 1970) and is due to have its first meeting in March. In order to keep a reasonable gender balance within the Committee, the College is looking for an alumna, rather than alumnus.
