College appoints new Development Director

Mansfield College, Oxford is delighted to announce that Helen Jones has this week joined the College as Development Director.  Helen has worked in fundraising and development for over 14 years both in the charity sector heading up major gifts, legacy, corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations teams and within Higher Education at Durham and Oxford Universities.   Helen’s previous role in Oxford was as Head of Development for the Social Sciences Division working with academics and securing gifts for the early phase of what is now the Oxford Thinking Campaign.  Helen studied Geography at Newcastle, has a Masters from Durham and is a  Fellow of the RSA, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

 

Commenting on her appointment Helen said:

“I am thrilled to have been appointed to the Development team here at Mansfield and look forward to meeting with alumni and working with Fellows, colleagues and students to support the exceptional educational experience which Mansfield offers."
