Professor Michael Freeden gave this year’s Adam Von Trott Memorial Lecture. The audience included representatives of Adam’s family, and Germany’s First Secretary for Culture Florien Steinz. Professor Freeden retired this year, after over 30 years as Politics Fellow at Mansfield. In her opening remarks, Principal Helena Kennedy thanked Michael for his vast contribution to the academic life of the college.
